Entertaiment

Entertaiment

A thing affording pleasure, diversion, or amusement: a diverting play; the daily crossword puzzle. The word entertainment derives from Medieval Latin intertenere, meaning “to hold inside.” Interestingly, the prefix inter means “inside,” and the suffix ten is related to the Indo-European root ten, which means to stretch.

Getting this issue of Entertaiment together was no small undertaking. It was a labor of love that took a great deal of time and effort, but one we enjoyed.

The fall edition of Entertaiment is now in the mail.
